FOR AGENTS & THEIR HUMANS · PREVIEW FEATURE
A clear format.A helping hand.
Bring a photo and a plan. Let another agent turn them into a Picture Parrot guide you can review, edit, share, and print.
Try a guide import ↓What is WebMCP?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is a common way for AI agents to use tools. WebMCP brings the same idea to web pages: a page can offer a few well-described tools to an agent working in the same browser tab, while the person stays in view and in control.
This preview exposes two browser tools on this page, and only while it is open. It is not a remote MCP server or a public REST API, and nothing here is promised for the public site until it is published there. Agents can only prepare a review; people decide what to save.
Checking browser support…
Tools are offered through document.modelContext in browsers that support it. Embedded preview frames may hide them; open this page in its own tab. Learn more in Chrome's WebMCP documentation (opens in a new tab).
One photo. Ordered pins. Known quantities.
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
schemaVersion | Always "1.0". |
title / occasion | Guide name (1–120 characters) and an optional occasion up to 60 characters, such as Wedding. |
photo | One of the four bundled sample photos, or a PNG, JPEG or WebP data URL up to 8 MiB. Remote URLs are never fetched. |
pins[] | 1–100 steps in display order. Each needs a title (1–120 characters) and a position. |
instruction / packingNote | Optional step instructions and what to pack away afterwards, up to 2,000 characters each. |
location / assignee | Optional supply location and helper name, up to 120 characters each. |
x / y | Position from 0 to 1, as a fraction of the photo's width from the left and height from the top. The same convention saved pins use. |
quantity / unit | Amount and what it counts, such as 2 · candles and holders. Use a number for totals; leave it empty when it is unknown. |
supplyBasis | repeat multiplies the amount by the event count; fixed (the default) means once per event. |
eventPlan | How many times the setup repeats, with singular and plural labels: 40 · table · tables. Required when any pin repeats. |
Do not send IDs, owner credentials, share links or completion flags. Picture Parrot creates fresh IDs and every step starts unchecked. Text is trimmed, and values over a field's limit are rejected with the field named.
How an agent submits a guide
- 1Call picture_parrot_guide_format to read the schema and an example.
- 2Build one guide object from the person's photo and plan. Leave unknown amounts empty instead of guessing.
- 3Call picture_parrot_prepare_guide with that object.
- 4Read the result. ready_for_review means the review is open on the page; rejected includes the reason to fix.
- 5Ask the person to check the review and choose Create editable guide. Nothing is saved before that.
Preparing a guide makes no AI call, uses no guide slot, and never overwrites an open review: while one is open, the tool returns rejected and asks for it to be finished or discarded first. Creating the guide needs the person's own sign-in and follows their plan (Free includes 3 guides, Pro is unlimited).
